Network/Firewall Engineer

About the role Network Administration of Cisco, Fortinet, F5 environment with responsibility for patch management, vulnerability management, and troubleshooting of patching and firmware upgrade related issues. Key responsibilities Network Administration of Cisco, Fortinet, F5 environment Patch management and Vulnerability Management Troubleshooting skills in patching/firmware upgrade related issues Perform Patch assessment and recommend/plan deployment Automation of Pre and Post patching tasks Bios upgrades and firmware upgrades Log monitoring/maintenance About you 8-10 years of Experience in Network and Firewall Administration Knowledge in ACI, Cisco, Arista, F5, Checkpoint, Paloalto Extensive Experience in ESXi patching Experience on Patch management tools like NetBot, other similar tools Experience on Cisco Platforms (IOS/IOS-XE) Capability to understand Network Flows Strong experience and understanding on DNS/DHCP/IPAM Solid experience on Switching (VLAN, Bundling Mechanisms, Ethernet, STP Flavours) and Routing (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP) Good Exposure on Standard/Extended Access-lists Excellent Verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal Skills Experience working in a SLA driven environment Ability to work in a flexible, team-oriented and constantly changing environment Able to work on weekends as per Roster and perform On-call support (during weekdays) as and when needed
