Network Firewall Consultant (must have Fortinet NSE 4)

Job Description: Configure, manage, and maintain FortiGate firewalls . Create and manage firewall policies, NAT rules, objects, and security profiles. Configure and troubleshoot VPNs , including IPsec and SSL VPN. Monitor firewall performance, traffic, logs, and security events. Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, and firewall-related issues. Perform firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and basic firewall maintenance. Implement and maintain security best practices and access controls. Assist with firewall deployments, migrations, and network changes. Document firewall configurations, changes, and troubleshooting activities. Work with network and IT teams to resolve security and connectivity issues. Qualifications: Fortinet NSE 4 certification or equivalent FortiGate experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience with FortiGate/FortiOS. Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, NAT, DNS, and DHCP. Hands-on experience with IPsec and SSL VPN. Experience troubleshooting firewall and network connectivity issues. Familiarity with firewall logs, packet captures, and FortiGate troubleshooting tools. Good communication and documentation skills.
