Network Administrator

The Network Administrator II is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving the company’s enterprise network infrastructure. The role handles network incidents, service requests, configuration, monitoring, patching, backups, troubleshooting, and project-related activities while ensuring compliance with operational standards and agreed service levels Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments. Troubleshoot network incidents and service requests. Configure and support routers, switches, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic firewall services. Perform network monitoring, patching, backups, and routine maintenance. Execute network changes and conduct root-cause analysis. Maintain accurate network documentation and support ITIL processes. Coordinate with business units, project teams, vendors, and internal IT stakeholders. Support network-related projects and operational improvements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of relevant IT experience , including at least 2 years in Level 2 network administration or support . Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP. Experience with Cisco or equivalent enterprise network technologies. Basic knowledge of firewall administration, network security, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts. Familiarity with network monitoring, packet analysis, ticketing, and CMDB tools. Working knowledge of ITIL incident, change, and problem management practices. CCNA certification is preferred. Knowledge of automation or scripting is an advantage.
