Salary: $257000 - 257000 per year Requirements: At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Defold and/or Solar2D, gained through professional work, freelance assignments, or published mobile games Practical knowledge of Lua scripting, core 2D game development principles, and mobile deployment workflows Strong written communication abilities and careful attention to detail Ability to work independently and follow written instructions Experience with mobile game development, 2D scene management, game prototyping, physics simulation, or UI/UX workflows in a mobile game setting Must be currently residing in the United States Responsibilities: Create tool-focused questions based on our workflows and engine-specific tasks Review AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, and consistency with real-world indie game development Evaluate AI-produced mobile game content for correctness, performance, and design alignment Draw on hands-on experience with mobile and 2D game development to provide useful feedback that improves AI understanding of development processes Technologies: AI Support Mobile UX UI Design Android iOS GameDev More: We are Vantage Compute, offering a flexible, hourly, project-based contract opportunity for experienced mobile game developers to support AI research. This is an ongoing, year-round program that can fit alongside other commitments, with fully remote work, asynchronous scheduling, and no minimum weekly hour requirement. Contributors typically work around 5–20 hours per week when active projects are available. We welcome applicants with experience in Defold and/or Solar2D, and the application process includes creating a Vantage Compute account, uploading a resume and portfolio, verifying identity, and getting matched to relevant projects.
