About the team The Direct Surfaces Team's mission is to make it delightful for users to manage their money. We're rebuilding and unbundling the core of Keystone AI so that no matter what the business, the location, or the use case there is a single place that can fulfill all financial needs: Keystone AI Treasury. This is a 0 → 1 new business at Keystone AI, so if that sounds exciting we'd love to hear from you. What you'll do Engineers at Keystone AI are comfortable working on new products under fluid conditions, seamlessly balancing tactical and strategic considerations all in service of our users. Responsibilities Deliver a world-class mobile experience for Treasury users, including working with our partners to design and launch new features and capabilities Scope and lead technical projects, laying the groundwork for our products to iteratively evolve and scale Design, build, expand, and maintain mobile-specific view cross-platform components, backing APIs and their services Align our technical decisions with the broad strategic initiatives at Keystone AI, while also advocating for needs specific to emerging new businesses Work with engineers across the company to understand when to leverage existing infrastructure versus when building a bespoke solution is prudent Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. Minimum requirements Have a strong technical background, including 3+ years of industry experience Have experience building mobile applications including working beyond just the client Understand good practices when building and working with UIs and APIs Measure your success in terms of business impact, not lines of code Internalize the best ideas from across the organization, humbly setting a vision that others are excited to get behind Work well cross-functionally and earn trust from coworkers at all levels. You are often cited as the inspiration for engineers who join your team Care deeply about mentorship and growing engineers • Prefer simple solutions and designs over complex ones, and have a good intuition for what will last and scale Thrive in a collaborative environment Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different areas of expertise. Engineering works closely with a variety of teams including Sales and Support to better understand our customers' needs, Legal and Accounting to understand how global policies influence our money-moving infrastructure, and more Preferred qualifications Have experience using React Native Have experience in ensuring great user experience and ease of use of features for products you build Have experience with financial product companies and interest in financial products and markets
