About the role
Salary: $106000 - 164000 per year Requirements: We require a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent non-U.S. qualification directly aligned to the role. We are looking for 5+ years of experience communicating and presenting strategic ideas at the executive level. We require 5+ years of experience applying continuous improvement methods and tools. We require 3+ years of experience working with the Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP). We need experience in a role that involved strategic planning, such as project or program management. We require the ability to travel up to 10% of the time. We prefer 6+ years of related professional experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. We prefer 4+ years of cross-functional integration experience. We prefer 4+ years of experience leading competitive domestic or international sales campaigns. We prefer candidates with an established BGS Engineering relationship network. We prefer experience in Integrated Support Planning and Management (ISP&M). We prefer systems engineering and/or SEIT experience. We prefer experience with Keystone AI Problem Solving Model (BPSM). We prefer experience integrating proposals. Responsibilities: We serve as a subject matter expert in systems engineering integration and act as the primary point of contact across multiple programs. We review technical requirements, assess risks, issues, and opportunities, and help support campaign readiness. We lead continuous improvement efforts that support engineering integration for campaign work. We manage day-to-day integration activities for active campaigns and proposals. We build and sustain strong working relationships with engineering and program leadership to deliver the scope of work effectively. We apply our knowledge of the Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP) as a functional reviewer for BGS Engineering. We support Product Support and Services with ESGP tailoring by program and help provide early-quality engineering input. We integrate engineering content across campaign activities and coordinate participation across engineering teams. We use the Impact Matrix Process to ensure affected teams are engaged when required by the statement of work. We facilitate ESGP activities for engineering, with emphasis on Gates 1 through 5. We coordinate engineering integration across contracts, estimating, Global Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Global Technical Operations, and related functions. We manage campaign look-ahead planning so engineering is engaged proactively. We communicate risks, issues, opportunities, and progress updates to leadership. We attend reviews, gate meetings, and program sessions to ensure engineering content and teammates are properly integrated. We examine basis of estimate materials, proposal content, and ESGP deliverables for accuracy and effectiveness. We share findings with leadership and drive assigned actions through completion. We support Engineering Start Right activities for new programs. We collaborate closely with Program Chief Engineers, Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT), and BDS counterparts. We contribute experience across multiple elements of the 12 Elements of Product Support. The summary pay range for this level is $104,550 to $162,150. This is a first-shift, U.S.-based position that requires U.S. Person status, an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance, and completion of our conflict of interest review.
