MES/Automation Engineer

Salary: $208,000 - 260,000 per year Requirements: We need a bachelors degree in a technical discipline, preferably engineering, along with at least 6 years of relevant experience. We prefer 4+ years of experience in MES design, development, testing, and delivery, ideally with Rockwell PharmaSuite. We need experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturing. We prefer experience with DeltaV, PI, and Ignition. We require computer systems validation experience aligned with GAMP5 and FDA 21 CFR Part 11. We need experience supporting capital projects, start-up activities, and manufacturing operations. Responsibilities: We lead MES recipe and workflow authoring for drug product manufacturing processes in a GMP environment. We support MES system implementation, including architecture, platform components, and integrations with SAP, LIMS, and automation systems. We deploy Rockwell PharmaSuite MES across new and existing suites, processes, and products. We ensure PharmaSuite is integrated with existing computerized systems in partnership with cross-functional teams. We provide floor implementation support, hypercare training, and troubleshooting for plant operators. We troubleshoot automation issues and support plant operations. We support the development and lifecycle management of PharmaSuite, DeltaV, and PI. We contribute to long-range automation and MES strategy. We develop and maintain requirements, functional, and design specifications, along with automation guidelines. We assist with automation capital engineering projects for facility, operational, site, and process improvements. We promote a values-driven culture centered on people.
