Job Title: Junior QA Tester (Manual Testing) Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing manual testing of web and/or mobile applications, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications. Understand and follow the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Write, review, and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements. Identify, document, reproduce, and track software defects through resolution. Verify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure defect closure. Collaborate with senior QA engineers, developers, and business analysts to ensure product quality. Participate in requirement analysis and test planning activities. Maintain accurate test documentation, test results, and defect reports. Assist in improving testing processes and quality assurance standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of test case creation, execution, and defect management. Familiarity with web and mobile application testing concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms. Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Internship or academic project experience in software testing is a plus.
