About the role

Lead business intelligence efforts to turn data into actionable insights for healthcare staffing.

The Company Solstice Analytics is a high-growth series-C technology start-up reimagining the future of healthcare work by providing an on-demand marketplace and workforce management tools. With the support of top-tier investors, Solstice Analytics has quickly become a go-to platform for healthcare professionals to instantly access high-paying jobs with the freedom and flexibility to work when and where they want. As a fully remote team of sharp, collaborative, and entrepreneurial individuals, we are dedicated to redefining the way healthcare workers and facilities work together to provide for patients. We are looking for passionate and skilled professionals to join our team and help us take on tough challenges in this fast-expanding healthcare industry segment. Join us in our mission to transform the healthcare staffing industry and improve patient lives! The Opportunity Full-Time · Reports to VP, Financial Operations Solstice Analytics is building the infrastructure layer for healthcare staffing - a marketplace that connects thousands of healthcare professionals with facilities that need them, in real time. It's a complex, data-rich business, and the decisions that determine how we grow, where we invest, and how we serve our customers are increasingly being driven by the quality of our analytics. That's where you come in. We're looking for a Manager of Business Intelligence who is equal parts analytical rigor and business instinct - someone who doesn't just build dashboards, but builds understanding. You'll lead a BI Analyst, own the execution of our BI roadmap, and work directly with the VP of Financial Operations and cross-functional leadership to turn data into decisions that move the business. If you're the kind of person who finds satisfaction in making a complex system legible - who gets energized by ambiguous problems, clean data models, and stakeholders who actually use what you build - this role was designed for you. What You'll Own Be hands-on with the work. You won't just delegate. You'll write SQL, build dashboards, run analytical deep-dives, and produce models that generate real product and business insights. You're still a craftsperson. Drive self-service analytics across the org. A big part of this role is making data accessible to people who aren't analysts. You'll train and enable business partners to navigate Delphina (our BI platform), set the governance standards that keep data trustworthy, and build the infrastructure so teams can answer their own questions -without creating chaos. Translate complexity into clarity. You'll partner with operational and functional stakeholders to monitor business health, surface trends, and bring structure to ambiguous problems. The best outcome isn't a beautiful chart - it's a decision that wouldn't have been possible without you. Build for scale, not just today. You'll contribute to a BI roadmap that balances short-term execution with long-term architecture - including alerting, anomaly detection, and applying AI/ML techniques to accelerate insight generation where it creates real leverage. Work directly with leadership. Reporting into the VP of Financial Operations means high visibility and real exposure. Your work will directly inform how Solstice Analytics's leadership team thinks about growth, operations, and strategy. Who You Are: A minimum of 5 years in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a related field - with at least one year managing a direct report. Advanced SQL is non-negotiable. You write clean, optimized queries and you understand the systems underneath them. Strong proficiency in a BI tool (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and a real understanding of what makes a dashboard useful vs. just pretty. Python or another scripting language for data manipulation and workflow automation. Experience structuring ambiguous problems and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences Comfort with experimentation - designing tests, reading results, and explaining what they mean. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and an appetite to apply them to real analytics problems. A bias toward ownership. You don't wait to be told what matters - you figure it out and move. What Will Set You Apart Startup or marketplace experience. Hands-on experience applying LLM-based or ML solutions to analytics workflows. Interest in healthcare technology and the infrastructure that makes it work. Why This Role, Why Now Solstice Analytics is at a stage where the analytical infrastructure we build in the next 12-18 months will shape how we scale for years. This role has real scope - a platform to own, a leadership team that wants to be data-informed, and a business complex enough to keep you intellectually engaged for a long time. You'll have ownership. You'll have visibility. And you'll do work that actually matters. Why Solstice Analytics: Benefits & Perks Competitive Compensation: Based on experience and performance Long-term Incentives: 401k Healthcare Benefits: Full suite of benefits including medical, dental, a
