Lead System Engineer – WINTEL / RHEL

Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server and RHEL infrastructure. Perform system administration including user management, access controls, patching, and security hardening . Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Python . Monitor system performance and optimise infrastructure reliability and resource utilisation. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolution. Manage virtualisation platforms and storage solutions , including configuration and capacity planning. Support infrastructure changes, upgrades, and cross-functional implementation activities. Maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and architectural records . Conduct security assessments and implement infrastructure security best practices. Participate in incident management and provide on-call support when required. Keep updated with emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements. Mandatory Requirements Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server / Wintel administration . Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) . 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, operations, or support. ITIL Foundation certification . Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong team coordination and collaboration skills. Good stakeholder presentation skills. Strong time management and prioritisation skills. Proven ability to prepare accurate and detailed technical documentation. Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field . Good to Have IBM AIX administration. IBM Spectrum Protect for backup and recovery. CyberArk / Privileged Access Management. IBM QRadar / SIEM. Symantec EDR . IBM Tivoli Monitoring . RSA security solutions . Vulnerability remediation tracking and management.
