Lead Software Engineer - Azure & .NET

Salary: $145,600 - 208,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree At least 5 years of experience as a lead .NET application developer, building and deploying APIs, websites, and related software in Azure Full-stack development capability Current, strong familiarity with Azure platforms and services, including Azure App Services, Azure API Management, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Azure SQL Expertise with Visual Studio, C#, Python, Docker, JSON, REST services, OIDC, SAML, and HTML frameworks such as Angular or React Strong understanding of Azure deployment security practices, including code scanning, access controls, IAM, and data encryption Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation DevOps experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills Technical skills with MS Azure, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, TypeScript, Angular, Git, Terraform, Fortify, and Sonatype Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform is a plus Awareness of FedRAMP, FISMA, and/or Zero Trust Architecture is strongly desired Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) is strongly desired Responsibilities: Provide expertise and ownership of Azure software development tasks within the Scrum team Offer technical leadership and mentorship to more junior developers Work effectively with clients and leadership, adapting communication to the audience Read and interpret software requirements and contribute to Agile user stories and tasks Help troubleshoot software application and configuration issues Assist with Azure application deployments, testing, configuration, and installation Assist with performance tuning Prioritize security and recognize potential sources of security vulnerabilities Support application resiliency and disaster recovery Create detailed application documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing across the team Technologies: API ASP.NET Angular Azure C# CI/CD DevOps Docker Git IAM Support JSON JavaScript Jenkins Python REST React SAML SQL Security TDD Terraform TypeScript Visual Studio Cloud Java More: We are hiring for a remote, contract-to-permanent role with work hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The offered pay is $70–$100 per hour and may depend on factors such as education, experience, work location, duties, and certifications.
