Lead Java Developer, AML/KYC experience

Salary: $120,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements: Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or higher, including modern language features and JVM concepts. Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud. Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native application design. Expertise in Apache Kafka, event-driven architecture, and high-volume message processing. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications using Java 17 or higher and Spring Boot. Define and implement scalable, resilient, and secure microservices architectures. Own application architecture, technical and component design, and integration patterns. Design and develop event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka. Lead technical discussions, code and design reviews, and architectural decisions. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with internal and external systems. Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, availability, performance, and maintainability. Mentor developers, promote engineering best practices, and support technical development. Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, architects, DevOps teams, QA engineers, and compliance stakeholders. Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions. Identify and resolve complex issues across application, integration, and production environments. Support CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and cloud-native deployment practices. Contribute to technology roadmaps, modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and applicable AML/KYC regulations.
