Lead Info Security Systems Engineer

Salary: $126000 - 270000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree plus at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree plus at least 7 years of related experience. Your degree should be in computer science or an engineering discipline such as systems, electrical, computer, or software engineering, with experience tied to MBSE digital engineering and/or Zero Trust Architecture. We require an active DoD Secret security clearance; active TS/SCI is strongly preferred. You must be able to obtain a DoD-recognized baseline security certification equivalent to IASAE 2 or 3, such as CISSP, CSSLP, SecX, ISSEP, or ISSAP, within 6 months of hire. Responsibilities: We lead the development and modeling of cybersecurity requirements within a digital engineering and MBSE environment using tools such as the Cameo suite. We apply standardized modeling languages and frameworks, including UML, SysML, and UAF, while mentoring the engineering team to improve speed and delivery quality. We help shape and implement Zero Trust Architecture to protect modern, perimeter-less environments by enforcing continuous verification of users and devices. We define, design, implement, document, test, and sustain ZTA security solutions for National Security Systems in a DoD setting. We collaborate with system developers to assess and design advanced systems using MBSE tools and current NIST, DoD, and NSA guidance. We communicate requirements, designs, implementation approaches, concepts of operations, and technical baselines to engineering leaders, customer leadership, and SETA personnel. We work 100% onsite and may travel up to 25% of the time.
