Keystone AI 's Job Applicant Privacy Notice What We'll Bring: We are seeking a Technical Lead to drive the development and delivery of applications and services within Keystone AI ’s global platform ecosystem. This role is a remote Technical Lead responsible for providing technical direction while leading and growing a team of engineers. You will play a key role in building a new engineering team in Costa Rica, supporting global operations and collaborating with teams across the US and India. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a high level of ownership to ensure successful delivery of scalable and high-quality solutions. What You'll Bring: Technical Leadership & Delivery Define and drive the technical direction, architecture, and design of applications and services Lead the development of scalable, cloud-based solutions and platform components Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security Provide hands-on technical guidance to the team when needed Drive end-to-end ownership of projects from design through delivery People Management & Team Leadership Lead a team of engineers, including: DevOps Engineer(s) and Full Stack / Cloud Developer(s) Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance guidance Support team growth and capability development Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Collaborate with global teams across US, India, and Costa Rica Ensure alignment across teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions effectively Work closely with engineering, platform, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions Engineering Excellence & Innovation Promote modern engineering practices, including Agile development and continuous improvement Encourage the use of AI tools to improve productivity and development workflows (e.g., coding assistance, automation) Support modernization and optimization of existing platforms and services Impact You'll Make: Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 7+ years of experience in software development 5+ years of experience in technical leadership and/or people management roles Proven experience leading teams with direct reports Strong experience in: Application design and system architecture Cloud-based development environments Service-oriented architectures and APIs Hands-on experience with .NET or Java (or both) Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Nice to have Experience leading distributed or global teams Familiarity with development tools such as VS Code Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Experience working in platform or large-scale enterprise environments Familiarity with AI tools used in software development workflows This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
