About the role
Must be based in the Continental United States 8+ years of Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Kubernetes Engineering experience Deep hands-on experience building, scaling, and operating Kubernetes platforms in production Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking, storage, security, and cluster lifecycle management Experience designing and supporting large-scale, highly available production environments Strong AWS and/or hybrid cloud infrastructure experience Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and platform automation Strong programming or scripting skills in Go, Python, Bash, or Java Advanced Linux systems administration experience Experience with monitoring, observability, alerting, and incident management Proven track record improving platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience Experience building internal platform tooling and self-service capabilities for engineering teams Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive platform strategy Hands-on engineer who remains actively involved in architecture, development, and operations rather than just people management Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred Financial services or fintech experience preferred
