Junior–Mid Level Data Engineer (AWS)

Junior–Mid Level Data Engineer Location: BGC, Taguig Work Setup: Hybrid About the Role We are looking for a Junior–Mid Level Data Engineer to join our team and support the development, maintenance, and optimization of data solutions in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS, Python, and SQL , with a strong interest in building and improving data pipelines, processing data, and supporting data-driven applications. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes . Work with AWS cloud services to store, process, and manage data. Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and pipeline development . Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks. Support data integration and migration activities across different data sources. Troubleshoot data pipeline and processing issues and implement appropriate solutions. Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to deliver data solutions. Maintain technical documentation for data processes and solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science , or a related field. 1–4 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, Data Analytics Engineering, or a related role. Hands-on experience with AWS and its data-related services. Strong Python programming/scripting skills. Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. Understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data transformation, and data quality . Good problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience with AWS S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, or EMR . Experience with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools . Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar databases. Exposure to data warehousing or data lakes. Experience with Git/version control.
