Lead design and support for custom trading applications in Java for securities trading.
About the Role You'll set the technical direction for custom trading and banking applications. You'll lead design, development, and production support so that solutions stay high-quality, scalable, and aligned with business goals. What You'll Do Act as the subject matter expert (SME) and help the team make technical decisions Provide L2/L3 support and fix issues for securities trading applications Work with other teams on architecture and delivery decisions Run code reviews and promote good development practices Mentor team members and help them grow Track delivery and improve timelines and quality What We're Looking For At least 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition (required) Experience with Trading Services (Front Office) and Banking Knowledge of the trading lifecycle and SWIFT Exposure to COBOL, CICS, C++, DB2 (Mainframe), and MS SQL Tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ, Apache Tomcat, GitLab Protocols: REST API, SFTP/FTP, MQ, LDAP Strong grasp of software architecture, design patterns, CI/CD, and Agile
