Well, our Client offers just that ☺︎ It’s a leader in digital transformation of banking services and Cracow is one of the most important technological centers – majority of projects are delivered from Poland ☺ About you: Strong proficiency in Java and experience developing backend services Solid understanding of SRE concepts, including monitoring, alerting, SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident management Hands-on experience with Prometheus, PromQL, exporters, metrics instrumentation, and alerting rules Experience integrating with Grafana, including dashboards, data sources, alerting APIs, and configuration automation Understanding of reliability and observability engineering, including high availability, fault tolerance, timeouts, retries, circuit breakers, rate limiting, idempotency, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing Understanding JavaScript or TypeScript and experience with one frontend framework, such as React, Vue, or Angular is a big plus Experience with software testing, including JUnit, Mockito, integration testing, API testing, code reviews, and automated quality checks

Daily tasks: - Design and refine solution architectures for Java-based SRE tools in collaboration with enterprise architects, product managers, and customer stakeholders
– Design and engineer end-to-end solutions, including Java backend services, REST APIs, databases, frontend applications, monitoring dashboards, alerting workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated tests
– Develop and integrate monitoring and alerting capabilities using Prometheus, PromQL, Grafana, metrics instrumentation, dashboards, and alerting APIs
– Build reliable and observable systems with appropriate support for high availability, fault tolerance, retries, timeouts, circuit breakers, rate limiting, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing
– Establish coding standards, testing practices, and engineering guidelines, and lead code reviews to ensure maintainable, secure, and high-quality software
– Drive the adoption of automated unit, integration, and API testing using tools such as JUnit and Mockito
