Java Full Stack Developer

Salary: $103,000 - 143,000 per year Requirements: 4+ years of hands-on software development experience for developer roles, or 6+ years for senior developer roles; the posting also specifies a minimum of 8 years of software development experience. Strong experience with Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle. In-depth knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, EJB, TypeScript, modern Java features, data structures, object-oriented principles, exception handling, collections, multithreading, HTTP sessions, session handling, and reactive programming. Front-end experience with Angular, RxJS, WebSockets, HTML5, CSS, and contemporary JavaScript frameworks; ability to create custom, reusable Angular modules and components. Experience building and maintaining full-stack applications, including back-end logic and APIs using Java, Python, or similar languages. Knowledge of modern application architecture, microservices, service-oriented architecture, event-driven services, cloud-native development, and REST and GraphQL implementations. Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills and knowledge of relational databases, especially Oracle, including database design, scripting, and performance tuning; familiarity with UNIX and WebLogic is also noted. Experience with JUnit 5, TestNG, Angular unit testing, and automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build and deployment tools such as Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift; AWS experience is an advantage. Experience with GitHub Enterprise and Agile development practices, including use of project management tools such as JIRA. Practical experience using AI tools to improve software development workflows. Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment, learn new frameworks and technology stacks, and follow clean coding principles, design patterns, and software development best practices. Experience with low-latency, high-availability transactional applications and distributed caching solutions is an advantage. Responsibilities: Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle and regularly partner with stakeholders. Develop solutions as part of an Agile delivery team, write code, help achieve sprint goals, and participate in team Scrum processes and the wider technical community. Design, document, build, and implement enterprise applications using current technologies and software design patterns. Take on full-stack coding and implementation work, including development of front-end and back-end components. Apply technical expertise to resolve issues, contribute to technical and team standards, and collaborate with technical leadership in support of established goals and broader technical strategy. Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency, accelerate delivery, and optimize software solutions; stay informed about AI developments and suggest innovative product approaches. Analyze and troubleshoot complex coding, performance, and design challenges; investigate root causes and implement effective defect fixes. Use Docker to containerize applications and Kubernetes to orchestrate services. Communicate progress, anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and identify, assess, track, and mitigate risks and issues. Improve or automate recurring processes across architecture, build, delivery, production operations, and business areas.
