Java backend engineer (Local to NY, onsite interview mandatory)

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with backend development, databases, messaging systems, containerization, and CI/CD. Required Skills Strong experience with Java and modern Java development Strong experience with TypeScript and Python Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services Experience with MySQL and/or MariaDB Experience with MongoDB Strong knowledge of Redis and caching strategies Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven/messaging architectures Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems Experience with application performance, scalability, logging, and troubleshooting Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
