IT Systems Officer

Key Responsibilities Administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment. Design, develop and deploy Microsoft 365 solutions based on business requirements. Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender . Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support , including remote troubleshooting. Monitor system health, performance, availability and security. Support network and firewall solutions. Coordinate IT hardware deployment, replacement and lifecycle management. Perform system updates, backups and restorations. Coordinate IT onboarding and offboarding activities. Maintain IT documentation, system configuration records, SOPs and user guides. Maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventories. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues. Support IT procurement activities and vendor coordination. Provide technical support onsite, remotely and onboard vessels when required. Participate in after-hours/weekend standby support and overseas travel when operationally required. Requirements Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments . More than 3 years of L1/L2 IT support experience in a medium-sized or large enterprise environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender . At least 2 years of technical exposure to network and firewall solutions . Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to provide standby support and travel overseas when required. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft 365 Administrator certification or equivalent. Microsoft Azure Administrator certification or equivalent. Experience supporting IT users and equipment in maritime, offshore or vessel environments .
