IT Systems Engineer

Salary: $80000 - 120000 per year Requirements: We bring 4+ years of experience supporting and administering enterprise technology environments. We have strong practical knowledge in several of these areas: Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Intune and endpoint management, Windows and macOS administration, networking fundamentals, endpoint security, cybersecurity best practices, identity and access management, and hardware deployment and troubleshooting. Bonus experience with Cisco Meraki, Huntress, Microsoft 365 tenant migrations, healthcare applications, HIPAA compliance, IT project delivery, and vendor coordination is preferred. We are strong problem solvers who can diagnose complex technical issues across systems, networks, and applications. We take ownership, act proactively, and look for ways to improve processes. We are customer-focused and understand that technology supports patient care and business operations. We collaborate well with colleagues, vendors, clinic teams, and leadership. We are comfortable traveling to clinic locations as needed, with approximately 30% travel expected. We are based in or able to work hybrid from the Nashville/Brentwood, TN area. Responsibilities: We design, implement, and support the technology systems that power our expanding pediatric clinic network. We standardize infrastructure across all locations while keeping our technology secure, dependable, and simple for staff to use. We work closely with our Director of IT to help build our internal IT function as we move from outsourced support to an in-house operating model. We lead infrastructure improvements, roll out new technologies, and help define the standards and processes that support our growth. We become a trusted technical resource for clinic staff and internal stakeholders. We support Microsoft 365 tenant consolidations, user migrations, and identity management initiatives. We implement and maintain endpoint management solutions across Windows and macOS devices. We standardize workstation deployments using Intune, Autopilot, and device lifecycle processes. We assess clinic infrastructure and help resolve network, Wi-Fi, and endpoint performance issues. We build familiarity with our clinical applications, workflows, and support processes. We lead technical implementations for new clinics, office moves, and infrastructure upgrades. We establish consistent endpoint management, patching, and security practices across all locations. We reduce reliance on external vendors by bringing key technical functions in-house. We implement and maintain security controls such as endpoint protection, MFA, conditional access, and device compliance policies. We create documentation, standards, and operational procedures that improve support efficiency and consistency. We serve as the primary escalation point for complex infrastructure and systems issues. We become the technical lead for infrastructure, networking, endpoint management, and cloud administration. We support the standardization of hardware, networking, and security technologies across the organization. We develop automation and operational efficiencies that reduce manual work and improve the user experience. We partner with our Director of IT to evaluate new technologies, vendors, and strategic initiatives. We help build a scalable IT support model that can grow with the organization. We act as a trusted advisor to clinic leaders and operational teams on technology initiatives.
