We are looking for an IT SYSTEM ENGINEER to perform the following activities: Deploy, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments Administer and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes (k8s) clusters in on-premise Manage and optimize VMware virtualization infrastructure (vSphere/vCenter/ESXi) Perform advanced troubleshooting on Linux systems, networking, and storage Define operational procedures, automate workflows with Ansible , and develop scripts Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to ensure platform stability, security, and scalability Manage platform lifecycle: upgrades, patching, backup, and disaster recovery Qualifiche What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Engineer or Linux Administrator Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (installation, configuration, hardening) Proven experience with VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes Familiarity with automation and IaC tools ( Ansible , Terraform) Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset Nice to Have Red Hat Certifications : RHCSA, RHCE, EX280 (OpenShift Administration) Knowledge of GitOps and CI/CD pipelines ( ArgoCD , Jenkins , GitLab CI) Experience with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus , Grafana , ELK Stack Soft skills: Problem solving Good communication skills Goal-oriented approach Self-Driven Proactive to solution Teamwork Languages: Italian (Fluent) English (fluent, oral and written) Descrizione dell'azienda Who are we?
