10 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure (must-have) 5+ years of experience in workstation build and automation (must-have) Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, preferably with Azure Cloud Architect-level exposure (must-have) Self-motivated and eager to learn in the IT profession Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Strong sense of accountability and ownership of the supported environment Adaptable and flexible with evolving technologies and best practices Team player who can work effectively with people within and outside the IT department Customer service oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent English-speaking is mandatory Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand business constraints Technical Environment / Must-Haves: Operating Systems & Platforms Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy VMware vSphere/ESXi Microsoft Hyper-V Patching and firmware upgrades Cloud Platforms Microsoft Azure – IaaS, PaaS, Azure AD, Azure Backup Azure Cloud Architecture / Azure architecture experience – preferred/high priority AWS – exposure to EC2, S3, IAM GCP – optional Hybrid cloud connectivity and monitoring Backup & Recovery Tools Veeam Backup & Replication Commvault or Veritas NetBackup, as applicable Backup scheduling, retention policies, and restore testing Storage Systems SAN/NAS solutions – NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE Storage protocols – iSCSI, NFS, SMB Basic performance tuning and capacity monitoring Monitoring & Management SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios, or equivalent ITSM tools – ServiceNow, BMC Remedy Patch management and system health reporting Security & Compliance Antivirus and endpoint protection tools Vulnerability scanning – Qualys, Tenable Basic exposure to SIEM tools – e.g., Splunk, Sentinel Scripting & Automation PowerShell – basic to intermediate Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform is a plus
