IT Governance & Quality Management Specialist

About the Role Sun Savings Bank is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized IT Quality Assurance & Process Documentation Specialist to join our growing IT Department. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and controlling all IT documentation, policies, procedures, and system guidelines. Beyond technical writing, you will lead Quality Assurance (QA) and compliance monitoring across all software, app, and product development lifecycles, ensuring our IT operations align with industry standards, regulatory mandates, and ISO quality management frameworks. Key Responsibilities IT Documentation & Version Control Develop, review, standardize, and maintain comprehensive documentation, guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and policies for the IT and Digital Department. Establish and manage strict document version control, revision tracking, and archiving protocols to maintain data integrity and audit readiness. Development & Deployment Documentation Document technical workflows, functional specifications, system architectures, release notes, and user manuals for all new products, software, and applications developed or deployed by Sun Savings Bank. Work closely with software engineers, systems administrators, and business analysts to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation. Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring Perform quality assurance checks and monitor compliance across all IT-related application developments and system deployments. Ensure IT projects and operational processes strictly adhere to internal governance, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) IT regulations, and data security standards. Business Process & Quality Management (ISO Frameworks) Lead Business Process Management (BPM) within the IT department, using Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001), and standard industry benchmarks. Identify process bottlenecks, risks, and inefficiencies, driving continuous process improvement across all digital operations. Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in IT documentation, IT quality management, IT compliance, or process auditing (experience in banking/fintech is a strong plus). Technical & Process Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IT release/deployment workflows. Hands-on experience or working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO standards (such as ISO 9001 / ISO 27001), or ITIL frameworks. Familiarity with IT compliance and regulatory control requirements. Skills & Competencies: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to produce clear, structured technical and process documentation. High attention to detail with strong analytical and process-mapping skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional tech teams, management, and internal audit/compliance stakeholders.
