Responsibilities: We lead end-to-end technology strategy and execution for Above-the-Wing Airport Operations platforms across more than 300 airports worldwide. We drive the shift toward an AI-first delivery model by embedding intelligence, automation, and real-time decision-making into our applications. We own application delivery and performance, ensuring high availability, resilience, and operational continuity. We serve as the link between business and technology, shaping direction in partnership with stakeholders across both areas. We define and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned to Airport Operations priorities. We identify and assess emerging IT capabilities, including AI tools and processes, to improve program delivery and performance. We help shape the future of airport technology using telemetry and sensor-driven capabilities. We establish governance that balances speed, risk, and value while staying aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards. We advise senior leadership on investments, prioritization, and long-range planning. We track industry trends and introduce innovative technologies and partnerships that strengthen our competitive position. We act as the accountable leader for Above-the-Wing technology delivery within Airport Operations leadership. We turn complex technical ideas into clear business outcomes, risks, and tradeoffs for executive audiences. We build strong partnerships across business, product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams. We lead executive communications on roadmaps, performance metrics, incident reviews, and funding needs. We drive delivery of complex enterprise programs on time, on budget, and with high quality. We evolve the SDLC with an emphasis on AI-augmented development and security built into every stage. We ensure compliance with TSA, PCI, and enterprise security requirements. We establish strong observability and reliability practices with full instrumentation and real-time analytics. We use data-driven decision-making by defining and evaluating metrics that measure program success. We design systems for high availability, fault tolerance, modern release approaches, and zero-downtime goals. We lead cloud transformation efforts using AWS, microservices, and distributed architectures. We improve delivery through Agile and continuous improvement practices. We manage our vendor ecosystem to maintain performance, accountability, and innovation. We build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams across engineering, product, and delivery functions. We develop a future-ready workforce with skills in AI, cloud, automation, and modern engineering practices. We foster a culture of ownership, accountability, experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement. We shape organizational design and workforce strategy to support scale, speed, and changing business needs.
