iOS Developer

Join Opera's iOS Development team in Gothenburg and help shape the future of mobile browsing for millions of users worldwide. We're looking for a passionate iOS Developer who thrives on building high-quality products, embraces new technologies, and enjoys collaborating with talented colleagues. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to design, build and deliver innovative features for Opera for iOS, contribute across the entire development lifecycle, and play a key role in creating a fast, secure, and engaging browser experience.

Develop, innovate, design and deliver new features and product versions.
Participate and contribute in all parts of the software development lifecycle.
Adapt to and learn new technologies.

Job Requirements
Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS development practices
Solid experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and Swift Concurrency (async/await)
Experience with iOS applications development and web technology
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database technologies
Ability to write clean, maintainable and high quality code with (and without) AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code
Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning, professional growth, and embracing constructive feedback
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Nice to Have
Knowledge about algorithms
Experience with C++ programming and web development technologies
Experience working with Carthage and Fastlane
Knowledge of analytics tools such as Firebase, Appsflyer, etc.
Knowledge of web security
