About the role
Job Responsibilities Partner Integration ·Own and drive the integration of Ironwood Digital APIs and SDKs with third-party wallets, DEX aggregators, and DeFi partners. ·Act as the primary coordinator throughout the integration lifecycle, from initial technical alignment and sandbox testing to mainnet launch. ·Ensure partners clearly understand Ironwood Digital ’s integration flows, constraints, and best practices. integration Solution Design ·Work with internal engineering teams to translate partner requirements into clear integration solutions and implementation plans. ·Help standardize integration patterns, documentation, and onboarding processes for external partners. ·Identify gaps or friction points in partner integrations and propose product or process improvements. Technical Coordination & Communication ·Serve as the main technical-facing representative for external engineering and product teams. ·Proactively communicate with partners via Telegram, Discord, and async channels to unblock progress and align expectations. ·Gather partner feedback and relay structured insights to internal product and engineering teams. API & Protocol Understanding ·Maintain a working understanding of Ironwood Digital ’s APIs (REST, WebSocket, gRPC) and how different partners consume them. ·Assist in aligning Ironwood Digital ’s API design with aggregator and wallet integration standards. Delivery & Ownership ·Take ownership of integration outcomes, ensuring integrations move from “in progress” to “live and stable in production.” ·Track integration status, risks, and timelines, and coordinate internal resources when issues arise. Job Requirements ·3+ years of experience in one or more of the following roles: Integration Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Product Manager, or Backend Engineer ·Strong experience working with APIs, system integrations, or platform products ·Ability to understand backend system behavior and integration flows (hands-on coding is not the primary focus) ·Familiarity with Web3 concepts such as wallets, DEXs, aggregators, and EVM-based systems ·General understanding of cloud environments (AWS or GCP) and modern backend infrastructure ·Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, external partners) Soft Skills Proactive Communicator ·You actively engage with partners and internal teams to move integrations forward, rather than waiting for detailed instructions. Fluent English Communication ·You can clearly explain technical concepts, integration flows, and constraints to external stakeholders in English.
