About the Role
You will help verify infotainment solutions in a complex automotive environment where connected services, user experience, and in-vehicle functionality need to work seamlessly together. The role spans functional and system-level testing across several infotainment domains, with a strong focus on quality, traceability, and clear reporting.
You will work close to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, contributing to verification strategies, reviewing requirements and test material, and validating features both in bench environments and in vehicles. The role also includes recurring test expeditions, where you help validate functionality in different markets and environments. Job DescriptionYou will contribute to verification strategies, test plans, and test activities for infotainment systems.
You will perform functional and system-level testing of infotainment features.
You will design, develop, and maintain test cases for structured verification.
You will execute tests in bench environments as well as in vehicles.
You will review test basis, requirements, and test cases to improve quality and coverage.
You will track, analyze, and report test results, deviations, defects, and verification risks to relevant stakeholders.
You will take part in vehicle-based validation during test expeditions in different markets and environments.
You will help improve test methods, tools, automation, and overall efficiency as part of a continuous improvement mindset.
You will work across infotainment areas such as navigation, connectivity and telematics, radio and DAB, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice assistant, UX/UI, digital key, mobile apps, and app ecosystems.
RequirementsB.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar technical education.
At least 5 years of experience within automotive and/or infotainment testing.
Experience in functional and system-level verification.
Strong test analysis and problem-solving skills.
Experience with test case design techniques and structured verification approaches.
Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
Valid driving license.
You are self-driven and structured, and you take ownership of verification tasks.
You are comfortable working in a dynamic development environment.
You are proactive in identifying risks, gaps, and improvement areas.
You communicate status, progress, and issues in a transparent and clear way.
You can participate in recurring travel as an integral part of the role.
