Information Systems Engineer

Salary: $120000 - 131000 per year Requirements: Over 5 years of experience in IT and DevOps/Platform Engineering roles Proficient in network and systems administration Solid experience with Windows environments Comfortable working in Linux terminal Understanding of software development processes and methodologies Experience managing and operating Kubernetes clusters and applications Knowledge of security best practices from both infrastructure and end-user perspectives Familiarity with Git Version Control Systems Some programming experience, preferably in C# (.NET Core) Responsibilities: Ensure the functionality and security of our technology ecosystem, including cloud and on-site resources Maintain operational build and deployment systems to facilitate smooth development processes Implement enhancements for existing systems to resolve recurring or new challenges Assist in designing and establishing new infrastructure and technology principles to boost overall efficiency Help oversee security operations including patch rollouts, updates, and audits Collaborate with the architecture team on new infrastructure implementations to meet evolving technological needs Manage production deployments, troubleshooting unexpected issues and evaluating responses Monitor and maintain the operational status of production systems, including secret rotations and scaling Technologies: C# Cloud DevOps Git Kubernetes Linux Network Security Windows ASP.NET Atlassian Azure Support More: At Meridian Softworks, we are a SaaS firm dedicated to creating custom software solutions for the life insurance sector.
