Keystone AI · USA · Posted 30d ago
About the role
Build and simplify computer vision models for various applications using Python and machine learning.
Skills: Python, Machine Learning, Computer Vision Check out our Series B announcement here ! Who We Are Our mission is to make the world programmable. Sight is one of the key ways we understand the world, and soon this will be true for the software we use, too. At Keystone AI, we’re building the tools, community, and resources needed to make the world programmable with artificial intelligence. Keystone AI simplifies building and using computer vision models. Today, over 1M+ developers, including those from half the Fortune 100, use Keystone AI’s machine learning open source and hosted tools. That includes counting cells to accelerate cancer research, improving construction site safety , digitizing floor plans , preserving coral reef populations , guiding drone flight , and much more . Our team is small relative to our impact, and we believe our user success is our success (not the inverse). A team member summarized: “Keystone AI is a company full of giant brains and tiny egos.” We find software has a multiplier effect on all roles (not only product and engineering), so Keystone AI employs developers across the company in design, sales, customer support, marketing, and beyond. We’re supported by great customers and investors, having raised over 63 million from Google Ventures (GV), Craft Ventures, Y Combinator, Sam Altman, Lachy Groom, amongst other leading software investors. Who You Are Primarily, you like to make great things with passionate colleagues. You are someone that likes to own outcomes, not only inputs. You’re motivated by having responsibility and accountability. You’re eager to ‘do the work,’ big and small. You’re curious and learning about new technologies, perhaps an early tinkerer with AI products. You show more than you tell. You’re motivated by the question, “How can I improve this?” and have a track record of doing so, even in ways adjacent to your role. Much of our current team is made up of former founders and thrive in the level of autonomy at Keystone AI. Maybe you had a side hustle in high school or college. Many Keystone AIers have used our tools before joining. One of the best ways to stand out amongst other applicants is to write about something you have built with Keystone AI or contribute to one of our open source projects. We’re hiring Implementation Engineers to partner closely with our sales and solutions architect team to drive new customer wins. You’ll have an immense impact on shaping the future of not only this role, but our company. A large portion of the Keystone AI sales process is technical, ensuring customers understand how to incorporate computer vision into their products. Building successful relationships with our customers -- many of whom are engineers -- as well as showcasing what the Keystone AI product is capable of is a key component of the role, so you will leverage both your engineering background and user-facing mindset to be successful. What You’ll Do Because our customers use computer vision in so many different industries (accelerating cancer research, improving manufacturing processes, enabling automated checkout, and so much more), your workday will always include an engaging variety of challenges. You’ll be an integral part of making our customers successful, being responsible for the project management, deployment, and adoption of Keystone AI’s computer vision solutions within their products. This is a hands-on, technical role where you will work closely not only with our customers, but also with our engineering teams and product managers to ensure the successful deployment of our solutions. You will need to combine your expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and Python programming to design, implement, and optimize solutions that solve our customers’ biggest pain points. We want our customers to be life long partners with Keystone AI and ensure they are receiving the ROI they envisioned when they first signed on. If you think, “I’m an engineer that loves sharing my work with others,” you’d be in great company in this role. Role and Responsibilities Support and manage the project delivery of customized solutions to our customers Provide post-deployment support, including troubleshooting, debugging, and educating customers You will collaborate with Sales and Solutions Architect teams to ensure continuity across the customer journey Create technical content to demonstrate best practices (e.g. sample apps, documentation, videos, etc.) Work with sales and product to develop implementation strategies and build roadmaps for our customers Partner with customers to perform analysis on their image data to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement through computer vision Test and validate new product features with customer value creation in mind Contribute to a repository of reusable artifacts that can be used by customers to accelerate their Keystone AI journey Work with the wider Roboflwo team to improve processes, documentation and the overall custo
