Imaging Service Engineer

Salary: $93000 - 133000 per year Requirements: We require an associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience, in electronics, biomedical engineering, or another technical field that supports the upkeep and repair of imaging equipment in a healthcare environment. We are looking for at least 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for maintaining and repairing clinical devices, or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance in a healthcare environment, or entry-level formal training, or equivalent military training. We prefer candidates with 1+ years of imaging experience, ideally with radio frequency, X-ray portables, C-arms, fluoroscopy, or ultrasound. We will also consider senior biomedical equipment technicians with 3+ years of experience who are willing to train in imaging systems. We require hospital or healthcare setting experience. We need strong troubleshooting ability, sound judgment in repairing imaging devices, and the capability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance. We prefer experience with Siemens or GE ultrasound, X-ray portables, C-arms, and general X-ray systems, though training can be provided. We value excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills. We require a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record. Responsibilities: We maintain medical equipment in a reliable, timely, and high-quality manner. We repair, service, and calibrate medical imaging devices in a hospital or healthcare environment. We assess issues and make informed decisions when troubleshooting and restoring imaging equipment. We work alongside clinical staff and other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve equipment-related problems. We document service work and keep accurate records in departmental tracking systems. We participate in an on-call schedule and provide emergency technical support when needed.
