IC Layout Automation Software Engineer

📋 Description Design, develop, and maintain production software for IC layout workflows Refactor code to improve maintainability, usability, and performance Build scalable architectures supporting evolving design and fabrication needs Ensure code quality with testing, documentation, and version control Translate design and fabrication requirements into layout-ready implementations Work with GDSII and IC layout formats to generate and validate layout data 🎯 Requirements B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in CS, EE, CE, Physics, Applied Physics, or related field Strong proficiency in Python with production-quality software experience Experience owning and improving long-lived, complex codebases (refactor, test, document) Experience with IC layout data and formats, including GDSII Familiarity with EDA/IC tools like KLayout, gdspy, Cadence Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills 🎁 Benefits Competitive salary and equity Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) plan and parental leave
