Harness Design Engineer (Starshield)

📋 Description Own satellite avionics interconnection systems from design to in-orbit operations. Architect system designs with harness capabilities, power, connectivity, fault tolerance. Develop electro-mechanical harness designs in 3D NX CAD; communicate design intent to manufacturing. Contribute to physical layout to optimize size, weight, power, and assembly. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, RF, EMI teams to define requirements and trades. Analyze and test harnesses for thermal, loads, and vibration to ensure qualification. 🎯 Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering. Experience with electro-mechanical wire harness design or manufacturing. Experience with system trades tying hardware to larger systems. 1+ years hands-on project experience with complex mech/electrical systems (team lead preferred). Proficiency with CAD, especially Siemens NX.
