Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer (Remote)

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience. We are looking for at least 1 year of hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter development experience. We need experience with Guidewire configuration and/or integration development. We require an understanding of Property & Casualty insurance concepts. We prefer familiarity with Agile software development practices. We value strong communication and problem-solving skills. We look for technical knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter, GOSU, PCF, Java, SQL, XML, REST APIs, web services, and version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub. We look for experience with Jira or similar work management tools and relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server. Preferred experience includes Guidewire certification, Guidewire Cloud exposure, API or messaging integration work, external system integrations, CI/CD and DevSecOps practices, and familiarity with other InsuranceSuite applications. Responsibilities: We design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements to a Guidewire ClaimCenter platform. We participate in configuration and integration development work. We partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and fellow developers to deliver effective solutions. We build and maintain business rules, workflows, screens, entities, and integrations. We contribute to API-based integrations, event-driven processing, and batch solutions. We take part in sprint planning, estimation, testing, and production support activities. We perform unit testing and support integration testing efforts. We collaborate in Agile teams to deliver features on schedule and to quality standards. We troubleshoot and resolve application issues while following established development best practices.
