Job Description Location: GTA Toronto Term : 11 months client: public sector Rate: $70 – 85/hr all inclusive Assignment Name: Maintenance: Institution and Programs Project PROJECT BACKGROUND Institution and Programs Current IT Environment OSAP is currently supported by a series of custom developed application systems that run on AS/400 technology. In the last few years, web enabled applications have been supported, and over 95% of applications are now received via the web. New Environment The new operating environment will use JEE, Websphere. Oracle 10g, ILog rules engine, Stellent Content Manager, MQ/JMS and mercury Testing tools. The solution will be based on Sun hardware, Sun Solaris operating system, and Sun SAN storage and involves integration with AS400. CLIENT’S REQUIREMENTS · Provide expert advice in developing and integrating process and information models to enable identifying and eliminating redundant business processes. Identify new business functions/solutions and documents the business requirements. Participate in the development of business/system integration strategies. Provide technical leadership to business analysts, architects and system development teams. Provide specialized technical expertise in the overall analysis of the design and architecture of systems solutions based on strong hands-on experience Identify short and long-term project goals/objectives, and as a senior technical expert, identifies and defines program and service delivery requirements in support of the development and/or acquisition of applications Lead the analysis, development and documentation of design and architecture of systems solutions Lead the development of testing, integration and implementation of systems solutions into the clients’ applications Company Description SCT resources have a broad range of skills in different technologies.
