Golang developer
We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join our team. This position is part of a high-impact project for a world-renowned enterprise platform provider that is replacing its legacy infrastructure with a modern, Go-centric developer platform. In this role, you will help build an end-to-end environment covering the entire software lifecycle, from version control and CI/CD to deep IDE integrations.
Responsibilities:
– Microservices Development: Design and build scalable, secure backend microservices using Go.
– Frontend & IDE Integration: Develop user-facing components using TypeScript and build custom VSCode extensions to optimize the developer experience.
– Security & Auth: Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms, integrating with OAuth 2.0 and Active Directory.
– CI/CD Collaboration: Partner with DevOps teams to design, maintain, and streamline automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Min requirements:
– Strong proficiency in Go for backend microservices development.
– Solid experience with TypeScript for frontend development and creating custom VSCode extensions (via VSCode Extension API).
– Practical knowledge of implementing OAuth 2.0 and Active Directory integrations.
– Strong hands-on experience with Docker / Kubernetes and modern CI/CD workflows.
– Clear written communication skills for documenting technical solutions and collaborating across teams in a hybrid work environment.
Would be a plus:
– Background in refactoring or migrating legacy enterprise platforms (e.g., IBM ecosystem).
– Familiarity with building custom developer tools, internal portals, or CLI utilities.
– Experience with cloud-native observability tooling.
