About You You are a GCP DevOps Engineer passionate about building, automating, and maintaining reliable cloud environments. You enjoy working across infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes to ensure systems remain secure, scalable, and highly available. You are comfortable supporting cloud environments end-to-end, automating repetitive tasks, and collaborating with technical teams to improve delivery processes and operational efficiency. You bring a proactive mindset and enjoy solving infrastructure challenges through modern DevOps practices. Note: This position is offered under a contractor model for a period of 3 months. You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar roles. Experience managing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization. Basic to intermediate knowledge of Kubernetes. Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or similar. Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability practices and tools. Understanding of networking, security, and access management in cloud environments. Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Advanced English proficiency (B2+ or higher). You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities: Deploy and manage Development, QA, and Production environments. Automate integration and deployment processes. Configure connectivity between platforms and data sources. Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security. Support data migration and data processing workflows. Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve DevOps practices. Contribute to the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of cloud environments. Experience managing cloud infrastructure on GCP. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
