Fullstack Developer (.NET+MAUI)

Fullstack Developer (.NET+MAUI) 👉 We are looking for a Fullstack Developer (.NET+MAUI) to the project commissioned by the British post, Royal Mail Group. It’s another milestone for our growing relationship with this client (6 years and counting). The project in question, consists of over 80k rugged handheld mobile devices plus the operating system and applications installed on those devices. In addition, there is currently user administration and reporting capability. The devices are used to capture barcode scans, as items are progressed through the network. This includes when the item: 🔹 is initially collected, 🔹 is progressed through our network, 🔹 is delivered and handed over to the customer, In addition to supporting these core operational processes, the device is also used for: 🔹 route optimisation, 🔹 taking safeplace images, 🔹 capturing driving license details, 🔹 tracking items in customer service points, 🔹 collecting GPS coordinates. 👉 In this role you will be: 🔹 Responsible for the design of software solutions in a complex IT estate 🔹 Delivering software within Agile development teams 🔹 Applying architectural and engineering concepts to implement solutions that meet business requirements, considering scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, flexibility, availability and manageability 🔹 Able to create and interpret technical architectures using standard tools and techniques for modeling 🔹 Identify the technologies to employ and take responsibility for the delivery of software solutions 🔹 Assurance of supplier solutions to ensure compliance with requirements and procurements 👉 Qualifications and experience required: 🔹 Expert level in .NET MAUI 🔹 Expert level in .NET / C#, Azure PaaS (Azure Functions, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB etc), relational databases (MS SQL), non-relational data stores (Cosmos DB / Mongo etc) 🔹 Experience in Design Patterns in either MVVM or MVP 🔹 Experience in Web application development with ASP.NET 🔹 Experience of integration into a diverse range of platforms and services including EAI, remote resources, data storage, messaging, frameworks and 3rd party libraries 🔹 Ability to develop extensible, testable and maintainable code 🔹 Good understanding of the challenges of enterprise software development 🔹 Track record of delivering high volume, low latency distributed software solutions 🔹 Experience of working in Agile teams 🔹 Experience of the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support 🔹 Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices is an advantage 🔹 Knowledge of Azure DevOps is desirable 🔹 Experience of mentoring junior developers and directing/organising the work of teams 👉 What we offer: 🔹 flexible and fully-remote job, 🔹 B2B contract, 🔹 health insurance, 🔹 English lessons, 🔹 happy initiatives, e.g. birthday fundraiser for the charity of your choice, 🔹 financial bonus for first-time parents, 🔹 funds for office space rental where you live, 🔹 Multisport card, 🔹 monthly workshops that develop technical or soft skills, 🔹 training budget and space for knowledge-sharing, 🔹 Happy Trip (company retreat) twice a year, 🔹 defined goals, informal atmosphere and Cobalt Streamworks support.
