Full Stack Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a top-notch Software Developer to join an agile software development team focused on designing and developing engaging, user-centric web and mobile applications. The team adopts an agile approach towards development and works towards implementing best practices and tools used by leading technology companies and organizations. We are looking for a capability multiplier – someone who freely shares their skills and knowledge to level up the whole development team. You will work on developing web and/or mobile applications through practices such as pair programming and code reviews. You will also have opportunities to explore areas beyond software development, including DevOps, cloud infrastructure and software QA. What to Expect Work in an agile development team to deliver high-quality software applications, including mobile and web application frontends as well as their respective backends. Adopt proven software engineering practices such as pair programming, code reviews and test-driven development. Lead conversations on solutioning and systems design, establish best practices and mentor other engineers in the team where applicable. Experiences We Look Out For Experience in modern web/app applications using JavaScript (ES5/6). Experience in backend development using TypeScript would be advantageous. Experience in frontend development using React.js and React Native would be advantageous. Experience with database technologies, both relational and non-relational, would be advantageous. Experience with Docker/container technologies would be advantageous. Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and its managed services will be an added bonus. Familiarity with the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines will be an added bonus. At least 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
