Solstice Analytics is an award-winning AWS Consulting Partner and AWS Managed Services provider company based in the USA. We help our customers with their cloud adoption by providing architecture, migration, optimization, machine learning, and even 24/7 support. We are a professional services firm providing services in software engineering and the cloud. We do Technical consulting, Programming & Quality Assurance, DevOps, Applications, UX, Product management, and Project management. Solstice Analytics is a fully remote company that offers all team members the ability to work from home. Although Solstice Analytics is a remote company, we are currently seeking contractors residing in Brazil for this position. Compensation will be made in Brazilian Reais (R$), in accordance with the local currency of the country where the position is located. Job Description The Fullstack Software Engineer position at Solstice Analytics requires experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will be part of a talented team that works on mission-critical applications. Responsibilities Planning Able to adapt to a dynamic and collaborative work environment, make independent decisions, and communicate them effectively. Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objectives, input data, and output requirements with PMs, supervisors, and clients. Provides estimates based on requirements, wireframes, and designs. Development Own project success by proactively communicating risks, known issues, and changelogs. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. Work as part of a team. Code conforms to best practices. Appreciate the value of well-tested code. Perform peer code reviews. Create projects that are free of major defects. Maintain a positive and respectful tone in all interactions. Dealing with Backend and Frontend tasks according to demand Expertise Research new libraries, techniques, and ideas. Interested in publishing blog posts showing technical expertise. Enhances the organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Advanced to fluent English communication skills are essential for this role. 3+ years of experience with Python 3+ years of experience with NextJS Familiar with relational database concepts. Familiarity with Postman and how to make API calls. Experience with or knowledge of the following technologies: REST API development and deployment. JSON modeling and usage. Querying and modeling using a relational data store. Using package managers such as Composer. Using Git for source control. Nice to have AWS Certifications or be willing to get certified.
