Linarc is a Silicon Valley startup and has an engineering office in Chennai, India. We are building the first integrated project management and operations support platform for the field services industry.
We are looking for an experienced backend engineer to build the heart of our platform and services. We value skills over credentials, building things rather than what college or company you worked at and expertise over experience.
What does an ideal candidate look like?
– You have worked in a team to develop complex apps. Experience building SaaS apps is a strong plus. You can work on both backend and frontend, and you specialise in frontend engineering.
– You have 3+ years of full stack development experience, a large part of which is deep frontend development.
– You have extensive knowledge of one of Vue.js, React or Angular. We use Vue.js, but are open to working with people who have worked on modern JS stacks.
– You have extensive experience of working with RESTful APIs.
– Deep understanding of Git and other collaboration tools. Do you know and use git-flow? Do you have strong opinions about git branching and release strategies? Do you use CI? Good, we would love to talk to you.
– We would love it if you have experience with one or more of Firebase/Redis/Mongo/Postgres and other backend experience, but this is not required.
– We would love it if you have experience with AWS OR other public cloud providers, but this is not required.
– High capacity for precision and attention to detail
– Ability to meet tight deadlines
– Can work independently and  should have experience in managing a  team of front end developers.
