Founding Systems Engineer

📋 Description Improve speed, efficiency, quality, and reliability across core product workflows Profile and debug bottlenecks across app code, media workflows, and data movement Build benchmarking, regression tracking, and test harnesses for system behavior Improve concurrency, caching, batching, scheduling, and resource usage Design internal interfaces that simplify complex systems for the team Work close to product needs while making deep technical improvements under the hood 🎯 Requirements Strong systems engineering fundamentals — latency, throughput, memory, CPU, GPU, I/O, and efficiency Experience improving production software where performance matters Proficiency in C++ or similar low-level languages, plus higher-level backend work Ability to measure before optimizing and explain tradeoffs concretely Comfortable using AI tools to move faster and define problems; build clean abstractions Must be willing to work on-site in San Francisco, CA 🎁 Benefits Be part of a founding engineering team On-site collaboration in San Francisco, CA Competitive compensation and growth opportunities
