Where You Meet Halcyon Labs As one of the first developers, you’ll be tasked with building a new application and contributing to all parts of the platform. This is your chance to build something from the ground up that’s pivotal to the future of our company. We’re an early-stage startup, so we’re looking for someone who can work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. You will report directly to the CTO. You Will: Be responsible for the full stack of a new application, from database design to deployment Work closely with our CEO, CTO, and other engineers to build features and improvements Be a key player in system architecture, frameworks, technologies, and everything that makes for great software Bring best practices for writing clean, testable, and scalable code Understand our clients’ journey and build software that enables best-in-class experiences Build an innovative product to revolutionize the travel industry What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of professional software engineering experience Strong experience with Node.js and React Experience with AWS or other cloud platform Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational database Nice to Have: Experience with TypeScript Experience with payment processing Benefits and Perks: Competitive salary and significant equity in a high growth start-up Unlimited paid time off, including two company shut down weeks so you’re guaranteed time to rest and recharge Medical, dental and vision coverage 401K access Fully remote Company trips (tell us what’s on your bucket list, and we’ll plan a trip there!)
