Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: $219000 - 261000 per year Requirements: We bring at least 4 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or solutions architecture, with substantial customer-facing deployment work. We have strong hands-on expertise with AWS services, Terraform, container orchestration, and cloud networking, including VPCs, IAM, DNS, and load balancing. We have a proven background managing deployments in customer-owned cloud environments, including security reviews, compliance expectations, and change management. We are comfortable working through ambiguity with enterprise stakeholders, from platform engineers to CISOs, and turning technical discussions into practical deployment plans. We demonstrate strong operational judgment, with a mindset that considers upgrades, rollbacks, monitoring, and failure scenarios from the outset. We thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and go-to-market functions. We hold a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or we have equivalent professional experience. Responsibilities: We own the full deployment architecture conversation and execution, including VPC setup, permissioning, networking, and infrastructure provisioning. We manage the complete infrastructure lifecycle for key customers, from initial rollout through upgrades, scaling, and incident response. We create and maintain runbooks, upgrade guides, and automation tools to make operations dependable and repeatable. We partner with engineering teams to ensure our platform can be deployed and operated across varied customer environments. We work closely with customer platform engineering, security, and DevOps teams to address infrastructure limitations and compliance needs. We collaborate with Sales and Customer Success during pre-sales and onboarding to translate customer requirements into concrete deployment plans.
