Forward-Deployed Engineer - Data Engineering Expert

📋 Description Operate as the data engineering expert on the Internal Efficiencies team with cross-functional partners. Define data engineering deliverables from inception to completion with timely outputs. Leverage agentic AI tools daily to deliver code and boost productivity. Build strong relationships with Internal Efficiencies teammates and Brightpath Technologies SMEs. Collaborate with customer success and product teams to scope needs and deliver analytics. Deliver quality, timely features; refactor, test, automate, and own engineering tasks. 🎯 Requirements Experience owning a project from design to implementation. 3+ years working as a full-time data engineer. Proficiency in Python/Scala/Java/C++ and SQL. Comfortable exploring data and answering questions with SQL. Experience with agentic AI tools to deliver code (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor). Spark or similar; schedulers like Airflow/Prefect/Argo; distributed file systems (HDFS/S3).
