Forward Deployed Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to build customer-facing software solutions and translate clinical and operational needs into shipped software. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team with a strong emphasis on customer collaboration and practical problem-solving.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
– Develop front-end and back-end features using TypeScript, React, Deno, Node, and SQL.
– Work directly with customers to gather requirements and iterate on solutions.
– Deploy and operate services on AWS and troubleshoot production issues.
– Travel frequently for on-site customer engagements and deployments.
– Contribute to product design and rapid prototyping; move ideas to shipped code.
– Support team logistics during travel and ensure smooth customer experiences.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
– Experience with the stack: TypeScript, SQL, React, Deno, Node, and AWS.
– Willingness to work in-person in Miami; open to relocation from anywhere in the U.S.
– Eligible to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored visa.
– Strong customer-facing communication and ability to collaborate with clinical or operational teams.
– High emotional maturity and a reliable, hands-on build style.
– Strong ability to ship reliable software quickly; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
– Open to new grads and early-career candidates.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $80,000–$130,000 annually, with a total compensation target in the range of $120,000–$150,000 when including benefits, equity, and travel-related allowances where applicable.
LOCATION
Primary location: Miami, Florida, United States. This is an on-site role with travel to customer sites as needed. Visa sponsorship is not available.
