Flight Simulation Software Engineer

Salary: $93000 - 185000 per year Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of programming experience in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada (or a similar combination of technical education and experience) At least 2 years of experience working as a Software Engineer Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution (preferred) Familiarity with basic networking concepts Experience in the defense or avionics sector (preferred) Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and manage several concurrent responsibilities Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment Responsibilities: Develop, document, and uphold architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems Code and integrate software components into a fully operational software system Assist in the development of simulation environments to facilitate testing conducted by Mission Systems engineers Collaborate with an Agile team to achieve collective objectives Execute and document software research and development projects Operate under general guidance in a 100% onsite capacity Technologies: Ada C# Support JIRA Java Python Security More: At Nimbus Data Systems, we are committed to innovation and collaboration to create a better world.
