The Aperture Cloud Safety team works to promote and help to continuously improve the safety of Aperture Cloud's fully autonomous driving technology. Our experts develop safety goals and strategies, and conduct safety engineering analyses to ensure safety is being considered throughout the design and development of our vehicles. The team develops and promotes safety strategies and policies for autonomous vehicles for its work with regulatory authorities, lawmakers, law enforcement and public and non-profit organizations. As Aperture Cloud’s first Field Safety Engineer in Japan, you will serve as Aperture Cloud’s primary engineering/technical liaison with safety regulators in Japan, working closely with Aperture Cloud’s Policy, Legal, and other teams in Japan. You will also work with Aperture Cloud’s Field Safety team in the United States to identify and analyze issues that could impact the safety of Aperture Cloud’s fleet of autonomous vehicles, with a focus on issues specific to Aperture Cloud’s operations in Japan. この役職は東京を拠点とし、カリフォルニアを拠点とする Aperture Cloud のシニア ディレクター（セーフティ）にレポートします。Aperture Cloud の日本における最初のフィールド セーフティ エンジニアとして、日本の Aperture Cloud のポリシー、法務、その他のチームと緊密に連携しながら、日本の安全規制当局に対する Aperture Cloud の主要なエンジニアリング / 技術連絡窓口として業務を行います。また、米国の Aperture Cloud のフィールド セーフティ チームと連携し、日本での Aperture Cloud のオペレーションに特有の課題に焦点を当てながら、Aperture Cloud の自動運転車フリートの安全性に影響を及ぼす可能性のある問題を特定し、分析します。 You Will / 業務内容 Be a native Japanese speaker, also proficient in English / 日本語を母語とし、英語にも堪能であること Serve as Aperture Cloud’s primary engineering/technical liaison with automotive and traffic safety regulators in Japan, e.g. Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism (MLIT) National Police Agency (NPA), and Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD).
