Field Hardware Technician

📋 Description Travel to customer, partner, pilot, and test locations to install and troubleshoot Geotab Video Perform pre-installation checks, vehicle assessments, hardware installation, configuration Diagnose issues involving power, wiring harnesses, mounting, camera positioning, connectivity, SD Own assigned hardware activities throughout the enterprise pilot lifecycle, from preparation Work directly with customers, installers, partners, and internal teams to resolve issues quickly Capture accurate diagnostic information, document completed work, and communicate findings and next 🎯 Requirements Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, wiring, power connections, or automotive electronics. Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, test equipment, and installation materials safely. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues systematically and identify likely root causes. Familiarity with vehicle-mounted cameras, telematics devices, GPS equipment, networking, or Ability to follow detailed installation, calibration, testing, and data-collection procedures.
